Yipee it is nearly the weekend :) Looking forward to finding some time to get my copics out. Anyway, I would like to share a cute birthday card with you. I have had a little herd of cute cows sitting on my desk all coloured waiting patiently to be put on a card, and when I saw the challenge over at the The Paper Players was 'Down on the Farm' I knew I had to use them. Thankfully I managed to get the card together just before the linky closed - phew!
Here is my card.
Hello Bluebird Stamps - Farmyard Little Bits
Hello Bluebird Dies - Farmyard Little Bits
Hello Bluebird Stamps - Just Sayin'
MFT Die-namics - Mini Scallop Circle Stax
MFT Die-namics - Stitched Circle Stax
MFT Die-namics - Grassy Hills
Memory Box Dies - Mini Clouds
MFT Stamps Paper Pack - Tiny Check Brights
Tim Holtz Ranger Distress Oxide Ink - Salty Ocean
Tim Holtz Ranger Distress Oxide Ink - Tumbled Glass
Tim Holtz Ranger Distress Oxide Ink - Mowed Lawn
Tsukineko Memento Ink - Tuxedo Black
Pinkfresh Studios - Jewels Mix
With the exception of the 'confetti' all the images were stamped, coloured with copics and die-cut with their co-ordinating dies. The 'confetti' is from the Just Sayin' stamp set and I fuzzy cut it out. On separate pieces of bristol smooth card stock I inked up some tumbled glass and salty ocean for the sky and some mowed lawn for the grass, which i die-cut using MFT grassy hills die. The mini clouds were die cut from white card stock. I created my scenes and die cut them out with a stitched circle. I die cut out 3 black mini scallop circles and adhered my scenes on top.
To the card base I adhered some red check paper. I then foam mounted a white card panel to the centre of the card. I adhered the three scenes as shown. I stamped out the sentiment onto white card stock and split the sentiment into three segments and adhered it as shouwn. I then added some pinkfresh studio jewels.
I would also like to play along in these challenges:
I hope you have a fantastic weekend, happy crafting.
