Hi Friends,
Can you believe it is nearly the end of October - yikes, this month has flown by. It's been a busy month for us and I've only managed to make a couple of cards :( Hopefully I can spend some more time actually crafting next month - fingers crossed!
Thankfully I did manage to squeeze in some time to make a very clean and simple card for Reverse Confetti's October Stock your Stash Challenge. The theme for this month is thanksgiving and friendship.
For my card I used two of the floral images from the awesome Tall Blooms stamp set. I stamped them with Tuxedo Black ink and coloured them with my copics. To the centre of the yellow flower I added some dots with Nuvo Crystal Drops in English Mustard. Both images were cut using their co-ordinating dies. I cut a rectangle of purple designer paper from Reverse Confetti's Fun Times paper pad and foam mounted it onto the centre of a white card base. I then adhered the stamped images as shown. The sentiment, which is from Word Up stamp set, was stamped onto black card embossed with white powder. I cut out the sentiment using skinny strip die from MFT. The sentiment strip was then foam mounted near the base of my flowers. I am slightly obsessed with pinkfresh studio jewels at the moment and just had to add a couple to my card to finish it off.
It's a very simple card but I hope you like it.
I am also playing along with the Time Out Challenge - love the theme for this.
And linking up with Addicted to Stamps and More - #364 CAS
Thanks so much for popping by, I am hoping to be back in the next few days with another card.
Hugs Ax
