Hi Friends,
I am sharing the second card I made for the May Pinkfresh Studio Challenge where the theme was rainbows...which I love. This was the perfect opportunity to use the rainbow floral washi suite. The rainbow floral washi is awesome and really makes a card pop.
I have to say the washi tape gives you beautiful focal flowers for your cards. I added a panel of washi to some white cardstock and die cut with the co-coordinating one piece die. These one piece dies save so much time, I love them. I also die cut some foliage from white cardstock. With some neenah solar white cardstock I die cut the stitched scallop circles panel and the stitched diagonal plaid. I thought a slimline card would be a nice change as I haven't made one in a while.
I adhered the circle panel to to stitched panel. I did not add any glue around the circles so I could easily slot in my florals. I decided to add florals to the top and bottom circle and pop the sentiment in the centre circle. The sentiment was hot foiled using the awesome perfect sentiments hot foil plate and dies. I layered three white diecuts behind to sentiment to give it some dimension. A few glitter drops finished off my card.
Gorgeous slimline and wonderful layout using PFS Washi tape. Whoever receives this is going to feel very special. Thanks for being with us at Seize the Birthday.
ReplyDeletePretty slimline card! I like how you added white die cut foliage to the washi foliage. Thanks for playing along with us at Seize The Birthday 🥳
