Hi there,
I hope everyone has had a good week. I can't believe the weekend has come around already. It's going to be a busy one for me but hopefully I'll find a little time to do some crafting, or at the least, some colouring :)
Today I have a birthday I would like to share with you. I made this card specifically for the new challenge over at Reverse Confetti. They have a new website and a new monthly challenge :) This month the theme is birthday....perfect for me as my birthday card stash is virtually non-existent after my huge crafting hiatus. Unfortunately I don't own many Reverse Confetti products - just a couple of stamp sets and 4 dies I think. I would LOVE to get much more, especially some of the products from the new release but my goal is to use more of my untouched stash first though before I allow myself to buy anymore. Plus, as postage to Oz is always I factor, when I order I tend to order alot to justify it - hehe, so some saving is needed or a big sale :)
I coloured the image in with my copics and then die cut it out. I lightly sponged a circle die cut from Circle and Scallops set with some distress ink and added a scrap of white embossed vellum I had lying around in my scrap box to the bottom. I foam mounted the cute koala onto it and added some sequins. This circle was then adhered to a larger scalloped circle I die cut from some woodgrain card. All my pastel background papers were from my box of odds and ends, because of this I don't have any information on the yellow spotted paper - I think it is from a digital paper pack but I don't know which one - sorry. This papers where adhered to a die-cut square woodgrain card which was adhered to a card base. I foam mounted the sentiment and added a few silver dots for some sparkle.
My choice of pastel background papers was inspired by the current Cupcake Inspirations Challenge.
